Planning/Calculation Manager at a Glance

Finance Management is primarily supported and represented by the Valuemation Planning & Calculation Manager. This manager defines the necessary structures for the management of financial planning data and costs, as well as for the allocation of costs to services allowing you efficiently manage and control current and future IT costs. With the Planning and Calculation Manager, you’ll have a detailed overview of the costs of deployed resources as well as the usage levels of each of your IT services.

Planning and Calculation Manager in Valuemation

In Valuemation, select the 'Planning/Calculation Manager' Business View to access the Planning/Calculation Manager.

If you go the 'Administration' main folder, you can find the corresponding catalogs, objects and actions where all the necessary structures for the finance management can be defined.

Various categories are used to structure the financial data (the definition of Cost Types, Cost Categories, Budget Accounts etc.), as a means to gain insight into the underlying costs of service provisioning and service profitability.
