Order Copying Specifics
When an order is copied, the following specifics apply to the copy:
- Order status is set to Pending All
- Status of order items is set to Pending
- Ordering date is set to the current date
- Desired delivery date is preset to (= current date + 7 days)
- Ordered By is reset to the current user. If there is no person assigned to the current user, the Ordered By person is inherited from the original order.
The lifecycle status of order is stored in the Status attribute. It is closely tied to the status of the underlying order items.
