Creating a Model Release

By default, no Model Releases are provided since any "models" are always very customer-specific. To make a 'Release' the 'Model Release', you can do it in the following ways:

A) Using the 'Create New Model' action on an existing Release.

1. Open the 'All Releases' catalog or the 'All Release Packages' catalog.
2. Choose a Release Package which you want to make a model from.
3. Right-click and select 'Create New Model' from the menu.

   The Release will be copied as a new Model Release.

   Note that this new Model Release has the 'Release Model' check box, which cannot be edited, already set to 'true'.

4. Click 'OK' to apply the changes and close the editor.

   The new Model Release has been created and can be found in the 'Release Package (Models)' catalog now.

B) In the 'Release Package (Models) catalog' from scratch.

1. Open the 'Release Package (Models)' catalog.
2. Right-click and select 'Create' from the menu.

   A new Model Release is created.

   Note that it has the 'Release Model' check box, which cannot be edited, already set to 'true'.

3. Fill-in at least the mandatory fields.
4. Click 'OK' to apply the changes and close the editor.

   The new Model Release has been created and can be found in the 'Release Package (Models)' catalog now.
