Creating Objects

To create an object within a catalog, do the following:

1. Right-click anywhere in the opened catalog to call the context menu.
2. Select 'Create'

   OR

   Right-click an icon of any object within the opened catalog (switched to table view) to open a menu and select 'Create'

   OR

   Right-click the icon of the desired catalog in the Sidebar InfoObject to call the menu and select 'Create object'.

When editing an existing object or creating a new one, a view (the Editor) opens in the Workspace InfoObject. See also the Views chapter for more information.

Note: Objects are created from their respective catalogs. You are not allowed to save the newly created objects until you enter values of certain required fields and relations.
