Image: Properties

The Properties subtab contains all image-specific information pertaining to the currently selected image report item.

Function / Meaning

Image Path

Specifies the location and the filename of the image to be used. A preview of this image is displayed in the lower right-hand corner of the tab. The Open File icon calls the standard Windows 'Open' dialog to locate / specify the image file.

Image Style

Specifies whether the image is to be included once or repeated as a background pattern throughout the page. Care should be taken to ensure that the actual data of the report is still legible if an image is used as overly creative way.

Scale Method

Specifies the algorithm used to resize the image.

Image Width / Compute Width

Horizontal image dimension. If the image is to be resized, enter either the new height / width or use the Compute Width / Compute Height buttons to keep the image aspect ratio.

Image Height / Compute Height

Vertical image dimension. For image resizing see above.

Move Cursor

Specifies whether the cursor should be moved behind the image after the image has been inserted. This option would remain unchecked if you wanted to insert an image and then put e.g. text over it.

Original Size

Resets the size of the image.
