The basic functions of Costing & Charging are:

• the collection and/or assumption of arbitrary performance data (account data, hour labels, decentralized hardware etc..)
• the allocation of performance data to a cost calculation relevant term (cost center, cost objective, process, project etc..)
• the evaluation of these measured achievements
